“Study of TCF7L2 Gene Expression with Anticancer compounds of Tinospora Cordifolia on Human colorectal cancer cell line HT 29 and Antibacterial activities” Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the third most common cancer and the fourth leading cause of cancer death worldwide. . About 85% of the colorectal cancer (CRC) cases are known to have chromosomal instability, an allelic imbalance at several chromosomal loci, and chromosome amplification and translocation. In addition, several factors contribute to the development of cancer diet, and lifestyle habits are some of the major factors for colorectal cancer development. Diabetes-specific genes of interest [Genetic variants in the gene encoding for transcription factor-7–like 2 (TCF7L2) have been associated with type 2 diabetes (T2D) and impaired β cell function] are chosen and the expression level of these genes examined quantitatively. The expected findings from in vitro may reveal the plant extract may be useful for the management of the colon cancer.
